Get started

All users must have an account on iLab in order to request services or equipment training.

To request training

  1. Email the School of Life Sciences facilities office ([email protected])
  2. You will be required to be up to date in your EHS training (lab safety, fire safety, biosafety, biohazardous waste) and it must be updated yearly.
  3. Once you are cleared, the lab staff will contact you to set up equipment training.
  4. Once EHS and instrument training is completed, you will be given access to the facility.

To schedule time on equipment

  1. Sign in to iLab and navigate to DNA Shared Resource Facility page.
  2. From the facility page, select the “Schedule Equipment” tab.
  3. Find the equipment you wish to use and click on “View Schedule.”
  4. Drag and drop the requested appointment in the instrument’s calendar. A form will populate – please fill it out to the best of your ability.
