The Leica Autostainer XL ensures high-quality, reproducible staining with a higher throughput than manual methods. It supports lab workflows efficiently, handling up to 330 slides at once across 11 racks. With the capacity to store and execute up to 15 customizable staining protocols, it offers the flexibility needed for various staining procedures. Primarily used for standard H&E (Hematoxylin and Eosin) staining, the autostainer highlights cell nuclei in blue with Hematoxylin and colors the extracellular matrix, cytoplasm, and other cell structures in shades of pink with Eosin. This staining technique is crucial for examining tissue structure, cell distribution and morphological changes.
