NWR193UC Laser Ablation Platform

Description

The NWR193UC Laser Ablation Platform features a short pulse width 193nm excimer laser source, designed for efficient ablation of various materials to generate small particles. These particles can be effectively transported and ionized by the ICP. The platform offers a variety of masks, including an infinitely variable iris for spot analysis and rotational masks for rectangular patterns. Additionally, it includes a polarizing lens and high-quality optics to ensure superior sample visualization within the user-friendly AV2 software interface.

This minimally invasive sampling tool is typically coupled with either the iCAP quadrupole ICP-MS or the Neoma multi-collector ICP-MS for elemental analysis or isotope ratio characterizations across a wide range of sample materials. It facilitates minimally destructive sample removal from the source material.
