Get started with Research Computing

Research Computing supports research and discovery at ASU by offering computational resources and expertise to all ASU researchers and students. To get started using Research Computing:

  1. Create an account to request access. Once your account has been created, you will receive an email. All accounts on our supercomputers use your ASURITE login and password.
  2. Review the Research Computing acceptable use policies. By using Research Computing systems and resources, you are agreeing to follow the acceptable use policies.

Academic course support for faculty

Research Computing supports many academic courses throughout the year. If you are a faculty member teaching academic courses that will be supported by Research Computing’s resources, and you need to create temporary accounts for their classes each semester, fill out the ASU Supercomputer Course Allocations request form. You will need to include basic information about your academic course and a class roster (.csv, Excel or text file) that includes the first and last names of your students as well as their ASURITE IDs. After you have submitted the request, a member of our team will reach out to assist.

User documentation

Once you have an account on the cluster, you will be ready to compute. Our team offers frequent workshops to help get you started as well as detailed user-facing documentation.
