Our Semiconductor Device Processing facilities are equipped with the tools and expertise for advanced device processing, characterization, development and fabrication. With more than 48,000 combined square feet of clean room space, the facilities specialize in nanofabrication, nanoscale processing and microelectronics design, fabrication, testing and integration.
NanoFab
ASU NanoFab offers state-of-the-art device processing and characterization tools for research and industry partners. It specializes in nanofabrication, unique silicon processing, molecular- and bioelectronics, microelectromechanical systems, nanofluidics, optoelectronics and device characterization.
Advanced Electronics and Packaging
AEP provides comprehensive electronics capabilities bridging the high-risk, resource-intensive gap between innovation and product development in an information-secure environment. AEP offers backplane electronics design, fabrication, test and integration capabilities, and operates dedicated pilot line toolsets for technology development.
Solar Fab
The Solar Fab offers start-to-finish solar cell fabrication, characterization and testing capabilities. Additional services include the ability to make modules and perform fundamental reliability testing.
The relationship between ASU and ASM is very synergistic, and in this state of semiconductor revolution, where we are right at the edge of going to nanometer-scale development, it becomes very vital to have a community partner so that we both can mutually grow and benefit from this.
