ASU’s equipment in this lab contains a variety of instruments measuring cardiometabolic function, including metabolic carts, a variety of exercise equipment, and EKGs. The space also contains specialized equipment used to test muscle strength and endurance. With these devices, researchers are able to better measure how fitness, morbidity and mortality, and metabolism change with interventions or differ between different populations.
