About
The Histology Facility is part of the Knowledge Enterprise Biosciences division and is housed within the Regenerative Medicine and Flow Cytometry space on the ASU Tempe campus in ISTB1. The facility provides histology services for basic science (non-clinical) research. Services include paraffin and frozen tissue processing, demineralization, sectioning, staining, labeling and imaging.
This facility also houses the Flow Cytometry and Regenerative Medicine Facility instruments and is associated with the Regenerative Medicine Imaging (Advanced Light Microscopy) Facility. This unique combination of resources provides researchers all the tools needed to conduct tissue, cell and stem cell culture-based research. This shared core space includes a variety of instruments, such as cell culture hoods and incubators, freezer storage space, PCRs, microvolume spectrometer and fluorometers, plate reader, gel imager, ice maker, cell counter, and microscopes. Full service is available for flow cytometry, imaging and histology applications. Our staff is available to provide training, assistance and service to support your diverse research needs at Arizona State University.
