Regenerative Medicine

The Regenerative Medicine Core offers cell culture instrumentation, support and services to ASU researchers and the surrounding scientific community. Located in the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building I, it uniquely combines instruments from the Flow Cytometry and Advanced Light Microscopy facilities to provide all the tools and technologies needed to conduct tissue, cell and stem cell culture-based research.

The Histology Suite offers comprehensive services for researchers. These include sample processing with both formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and frozen techniques, sectioning for FFPE and frozen samples, as well as various staining methods. The Core specializes in advanced techniques such as Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), and Immunofluorescence (IF). Additionally, they provide essential support services like cassette and slide printing, high-resolution whole slide scanning and detailed image analysis. To ensure researchers can fully leverage these facilities, the Core also offers expert consultation and training sessions.
